Our story

Cleaning for women, by women.

Founded by Chioma, 25 — a Detroit small business.

My name is Chioma and I am the founder of Mrs Clean Detroit. I started Mrs Clean to help intervene in a world where women are constantly expected to take on the role of cleaning, while managing all other aspects of her life. Coming from a single mom house I held deep empathy for women who felt like they needed a bit of help balancing it all.

Our primary goal is to relieve the burden of cleaning for women both in the home and in the work place. Our customers include female small businesses owners, moms, wives, and working women in Metro Detroit. We have since expanded to work with airbnbs and commercial customers where a woman cleaner is preferred.

All of our cleaners are women, and so you can rest assured that your things are being cared for respectfully and with care.

In their words

Trusted by women across Metro Detroit.

I love being able to trust that my cleaner is another female and will take care of my things.
Quinn S., Detroit

I paid for a deep clean when my wife was having a rough week. She was so happy to come home to a clean space.
Frank B., Ferndale

I was a little nervous booking my first cleaning, but Chioma was very communicative and professional.
Stacey P., Dearborn
